宣統(tǒng)是清代后一位皇帝，宣統(tǒng)上臺以后，在宣統(tǒng)二年（1910）九月，度支部奏定“幣制題例”，廢兩改元，確定貨幣單位名稱為“元”，以錢為本位，一元為主幣，重庫單七錢二分。統(tǒng)三年流通版大清銀幣確定后，祖模次第告成，交由寧、鄂兩廠，定期開制銀幣，天津造幣總廠則先造銅輔幣。

近期本司有幸征集到重慶的吳老先生，宣統(tǒng)三年大清銅幣二十文樣幣一枚（如下圖）。黃銅質(zhì)，錢幣正面銅幣正面由兩部分組成，珠圈內(nèi)為有一條拱背彎曲的巨龍，翻云覆雨。龍頭向左，張開大口，霸氣外漏，十分威武。珠圈外部上下左右分列著“大清銅幣”四字，幣邊道高出幣地表，字體剛勁有力。

. The front of the coin is made of brass. The front of the coin is composed of two parts. Inside the bead ring is a giant dragon with a curved back, turning clouds and raining. The dragon head turned to the left, opened its mouth wide, domineering and leaking, very mighty. On the outside of the bead ring, there are four characters "Daqing Copper Coins" arranged up, down, left and right.

銅幣另一面也由兩部分組成，內(nèi)圓中心豎線鐫二十文”二字紀(jì)值，周邊下緣鐫刻兩束相交的麥穗裝飾，文字和圖案一氣呵成，給人以和諧地美感?？窟叺酪粋?cè)的圓環(huán)上方鑄刻“宣統(tǒng)三年”四字，旁邊各有一朵6瓣梅花，下方從右往左鑄刻著“五十枚換銀幣一圓”。
